Blue Beetle finally hits theaters on August 17th to the delight of DC fans and of course our beloved Bruna Marquezine. The Brazilian actress will make her Hollywood debut in the new DC Comics production. The Blue Beetle is a relatively new hero, after all the first version of the character appeared in 1939. However, the version we will see in theaters was created less than 20 years ago.

Blue Beetle Story
Soon after gaining special powers from the Scarab, Jaime Reyes became the Blue Beetle, but is now hunted by Kord Industry, which wants to use the object’s powers for their own ends. In this way, Jaime will have to deal with Carapax, who will chase him until the end of time to steal the Scarab.

Brazilian actress Bruna Marquezine will have her big debut in Hollywood. From Brasil to the world! She will play Jenny Kord, co-star and romantic interest of the main character.
From what we could see in the trailer, Jenny is a scientist, who has more knowledge about the Scarab, so she will be responsible for delivering it to Jaime, who will turn him into a superhero.
The actress insisted on dubbing herself in the production in Portuguese.
