Story of “The Little Mermaid”

The story of The Little Mermaid is one of Disney’s classics. Ariel is a mermaid who lives in the sea with her father, King Triton, and her six sisters. She is curious and dreams of exploring the human world, but her father forbids her from venturing beyond the waters of the sea. After a visit to the surface, she saves Prince Eric from a shipwreck and falls in love with him. In order to get the prince’s heart, Ariel makes a deal with the sea witch, Ursula, giving up her voice in exchange for legs. However, the mermaid has only three days to make prince Eric fall in love with her, otherwise she will belong to the sea witch.
