Marvel’s most beloved villain returns for season two, and it promises to be better than ever. Check out all the details of Loki’s new season.
Loki season 2 already has a release date confirmed by Marvel. During Disney+’s 2023 Upfronts event, the president and chief creative officer of Marvel Studios announced that Loki season 2 will arrive on Disney Plus on October 6th.
This season, Loki and agent Mobius must fix the temporal damage caused at the end of the first season.

“Season Two picks up after the shocking conclusion of the original episodes, as Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the temporal variance authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter-15 and a team of characters new and old familiar to audiences, the God of Hustle will navigate an ever-expanding and dangerous multiverse in pursuit of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes, and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose”.
What to expect from Loki season 2?
In this new season, Loki needs to clean up the mess caused by the events of the first season, when Sylvie brought more chaos to the multiverse. Loki now suffers from involuntary temporal slips, which forcibly makes him travel between past and present.
Some new surprises are the new actors cast for season 2 like Huy Quan, who will play Ourobosos, an AVT archivist. Majors will return to the series as the evil version of scientist Kang, founder of AVT. Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku and Sophia Di Martino are also confirmed.

Why did Marvel delay the release?
Marvel finally decided to listen to fan complaints about the drop in quality in previous releases, making them feel rushed. Therefore, all Marvel series and films had their releases delayed due to this choice by Marvel Studios. Therefore, with this change we hope to see Marvel quality again in new productions.
Where to watch Loki season 2?
The series arrives on October 6 on the Disney+ platform. As with previous Marvel releases, episodes will be released weekly for a total of 6 episodes.
